Hello, Disney lovers! I am so excited to share with you my first ever collaborative fashion blog, with the lovely Disney Instagrammer, @montanahatfield! 1. Mermaids Mermaids Mermaids!

Did you expect any other outfit to be prioritized from two girls who would trade their legs for fins any day? Every girl’s got to have a mermaid look in her back pocket. Even if Ariel isn’t your girl, mermaids just have a fantastical whimsy that makes them a great inspiration for any Disney look.

2. Hats (or ears) off to Pixar – "The Clawwww"

We love saving the lives of Aliens. Also, Toy Story 3 is my favorite Disney Pixar movie of all time, because it is oh so heartwarming and follows the timeline of our generation. Plus, instead of being the saved, these highly underrated aliens save everyone else’s lives in this movie, and its just so wonderful what these eternally grateful little green guys are capable of. If we all had the gratitude of little green space aliens, the word would be a more loving place.

3. Vintage Palooza – 90s Kids, Where You At?

Remember the trip you took to Disney when you were just about four years old? Holding Dad’s hand, peering around Mainstreet, hoping to get your first glimpse of the castle through all the giant adults, as Mom digs in her fanny pack for her camera. Your parents pose you for many pictures against characters and various backdrops, and of all the things you’ve forgotten from this trip, you kind of remember a parade that went by and sitting on the sofa in Minnie’s house. All those washed out photos end up in a tacky photo album that reminds you of mom rubbing sunscreen on your face, your hands being covered in Mickey waffle syrup, and the glittery water globe princess keychain you begged for in the Disney store and carried around in your stroller the rest of the trip. Here is a vintage look for you that will flood your modern day park pictures with nostalgia – denim, crew socks, fanny pack, scrunchies, and all.

4. “Cinderelly”

Of course we must pay homage to the princess that owns our Orlando castle, AKA the one of the most photographed locations in the country. She is courageous, she is kind, she is virtuous. And her adorable mice are so helpful and loyal to their “Cinderelly,” as they sew her beautiful clothes for the ball!

5. The Mickey Mouse Club

Lookin’ like we stepped right out of the Mickey Mouse Club – classic Mickey style from head to toe. Every Disney Parks lover has to own one of these classic ears, and a Mickey or Minnie plush. And what is a trip to Disney World without a walk down our most favorite place, Mainstreet USA? (Don’t forget to sob at the Walt and Mickey Statue).

6. Rainy Days

If you come to Disney any time during the summer, you can expect a 3:00 thunderstorm just about every day. But why let the weather dampen your day? Avoid the plastic ponchos and bulky umbrellas, and come prepared, but still fashionable, with a totally practical Disney rain jacket like this one!

7. Disney Attractions

Everyone has a favorite Disney attraction. Personally, we favor the cast member interactive ones. Though Great Movie Ride has now seen the end of its run, I still remember the days when gangsters were taking cars hostage and cowboys were searching for our valuables. And the Jungle Cruise skippers are always up for a bote ride through the waters of Adventureland, educating guests with cold hard puns.

8. Luv ‘n’ Nuts

These two mischief making rodents will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember Chip and Dale dancing with my twin sister and I at Ohana breakfast when we were seven. Ever since then they have been favorites of ours. And why wouldn’t they be? The brotherly quality they share is much like our twinship, and their giant Chipmunk cheeks are just so dang cute! By the way, does anyone know the difference between Chip and Dale? There are actually quite a few. 1. Chip has a black “chocolate chip” nose, while Dale has a larger reddish nose. 2. Chip’s teeth are close together, while Dale has a “dale” or a gap between his teeth. 3. Chip’s eyes are bright and set wide open, while Dale’s eyes look a little sleepier. And 4. Chip is the leader and the brains of the two, usually whipping Dale into shape. And while Dale tends to be a little more on the slow side, he is always up for a game. Aren’t these two just the most lovable mischief makers you’ve ever seen?

9. Neon Retro Mickey

This look was actually inspired by this unique window front. I love the glowing neon vibe, so I modeled my outfit to look sleek, yet dated, with just enough sparkles and shine to reflect this totally retro neon Mickey sign.

10. “Millennium”: The Disney Basic White Girl

And now the one you’ve all probably been waiting for. This is as basic as it gets, friends. The look that kick started the popularity of rose gold and the infamous purple wall. It’s basic. It’s girly. It’s unmistakably niche. It’s the basic white girl millennium look. (Which by the way, is a misnomer, as our generation is not the millennial generation, but rather Generation Z, so all these older adults who are calling us this are actually talking about themselves). Complete with an aqua Instax Fujifilm, rose gold ears, pink glitter shoes, and the pink drink, this is the look for you if you want reach the highest possible level of Disney basic trash.
